“I want to let you know that I am doing very well. After the third day on the c-diff protocol my symptoms went away. Was able to eat and was going just once in the morning.
Started the beginning dosage on Nov. 20th for two weeks, moved to moderate for another two weeks and on Dec. 21st started the maintenance dosage.
For the first couple of weeks I ate strictly raw foods and salads. I limited myself to one slice of bread a day, and I also allowed myself a couple teaspoons of peanut butter. I didn't change what I ate very much. I normally eat a lot of vegetables and raw foods- not a huge fan of meat. My portion size, however, decreased dramatically. I was unable to eat very much.
After those first two weeks, my diet started going back to normal. I could eat more and my digestion was starting to feel back to normal. I have now gained all of the weight that I lost back and am feeling so much better.
I have not had any follow-up visits at all. Once I began feeling better it just didn't seem worth it to go back to the doctor, seeing as I don't have health insurance... and not to mention the fact that they didn't do much for me.I am so grateful for your compassion.
