Independent Laboratory Testing

Testing completed at various medical and diagnostic laboratories have concluded that Biocidin® and Olivirex® have anti-pathogenic effects across a broad spectrum of common disease causing microbes including bacteria and fungi. Michelle has personally reviewed the Microbiological assays showing effectiveness against many types of bacteria, yeast and fungus, and have summarized some of the results below.

Disk Diffusion (Antimicrobial Susceptibility Test)

Zones (dark areas) of no bacterial growth around the antibacterial agents indicate the agent is effective against the bacteria.

A common laboratory test is to incorporate antibiotics or natural antimicrobials into paper disks which are placed onto a growth media in which bacteria or fungus have been added. The bacteria or fungi grow in a mat all over the petri dish, yet where they are inhibited by an antimicrobial agent, they are unable to grow (see the circles or zones void of growth on the petri dish picture).

These areas of no growth are obvious and show as clear areas or circles in the photo to the left. Bigger circles equate to a more potent agent. This is how antibiotics are commonly tested against bacteria to see if the antibiotic will actually work or not.

BIOCIDIN and OLIVIREX: Independent in-vitro laboratory sensitivity tests show both Biocidin and Olivirex to have the same range of effectiveness as many antibiotics including Ciprofloxacin, Levaquin, Sulfa and Terramycin as well as the antifungal agents Coccobosis and Sporanox.
