If you are looking for more resources on topics covered in the C. diff. Treatments & Remedies book, I've listed some here for you. Many of these books are my favorites when it comes to natural health and supporting the body to heal itself.

You may find these books at your local bookstore. I've also supplied links to where you can find them on Amazon.com.

Low Carbohydrate Eating

These books can be helpful for how to eat a low-carb diet while you're eradicating your infection. If you don't want to lose weight, just add more fats into their food plan.

The "6 Day Body Make Over" by Robert Thurmond

The dietary plan also includes no salt, but that's not as important when dealing with infections. This may be the better resource than Ann Gittleman's book below, as it's not as stringent. Here's the link to Amazon.

The New Fat Flush Plan by Ann Louise Gittleman

Another great choice for a low-carbohydrate diet plan would be Ann Louise Gittleman's "Fat Flush Diet". I actually used her book quite a few years ago to help with low-carb meals. If you need to lose weight, you can follow what it suggests. If you don't want to lose weight, just add more fats into the food plan. Here's Ann's book at Amazon.

Health, Nutrition and Vitamins and Minerals

The Metabolic Typing Diet by Wolcott, William Linz – January 2, 2002

This is my absolute favorite book on understanding what foods are best for us as individuals. It has freed me from food cravings and is helping my body heal from the inside out. I'm also losing weight because my body is now getting the proper fuel it needs.

Each person is unique and requires specific foods. Some people are protein types who require protein and fat, and very little carbohydrate (think of the Inuits in the Artic who primarily eat seals or whales). People with a more tropical ancestry require little protein but a lot of fruits and veggies. And other people fall in between.

This is NOT a Ketogenic or Paleo book as it helps you find the right food blend specific to you. You can find this book on Amazon here.

Green for Life by Victoria Boutenko

This book was very instrumental in helping understand the importance of "greens", a little understood corner of the produce section.

This goes way beyond salad into the nutrients greens offer us. Victoria has many delicious green smoothie recipes in the book too! Get the book from Amazon.

Dr. Mercola's Total Health Program: The Proven Plan to Prevent Disease and Premature Aging, Optimize Weight and Live Longer by Joseph Mercola MD

Dr. Joseph Mercola MD is an alternative medical doctor who's information has been invaluable in my health. This is a great resource to help you better understand your immune system, and the simple actions it takes to get (and keep) it running in good condition. His latest books also cover a form of metabolic typing and ketogenic diets. I purchased this book a few years ago and am always referencing it. Here's the link on Amazon.com.

Health and Nutrition Secrets by Russell L Blaylock MD

Dr. Blaylock is a very well respected MD who helps people understand "alternative" medicine in an easy to understand format. I highly recommend information from Dr. Russell Blaylock MD. Here's his book on Amazon.

The Great Physician's Rx for Health and Wellness (Hardcover) by Jordan Rubin

This is a Christian based book, and describes many of the principles I cover. It details Jordan's return to health from many illnesses caused by immune system deficiencies, which is directly tied to healing from infections. Amazon link here.

Iodine: Why you need it Why you can't live without it by Dr. David Brownstein MD

I originally got the previous edition of this book through my chiropractor Dr. Craig Pearson, who is an expert on Iodine chemistry in the body.

Iodine is fundamental for immune system regulation and for destroying invading pathogens. It's simple yet highly overlooked, and most people (besides maybe the Japanese) are very deficient in Iodine. Here's a link to Amazon. This book is a must read!

Essential Oils

If you'd like to learn more about Essential Oils, these books have been very instrumental and additives to my training with Dana Clay Young with Be Young essential oils. Now, many books do not cover medicinal qualities of essential oils, but books by Kurt Schnaubelt do.

Advanced Aromatherapy: The Science of Essential Oil Therapy by Kurt Schnaubelt Ph.D

This is an excellent overview for those wanting to know more about essential oils and how they work. Kurt also covers different kinds of essential oils and their properties. Good for beginners in essential oils. Here it is on Amazon.

Medical Aromatherapy: Healing with Essential Oils by Kurt Schnaubelt Ph.D

This is an excellent book for those wanting to learn more about medicinal uses of Essential Oils. The content of this book is much more scientific in nature. Good for those experienced in essential oils wanting to learn more. Amazon link here.

Antibiotic Alternatives

Herbal Antibiotics, 2nd Edition: Natural Alternatives for Treating Drug-resistant Bacteria by Stephen Harrod Buhner

A very in-depth review of many different herbal plants and how to use them against many kinds of infections. A great resource to have. Here it is on Amazon.com.
